WALKING TO MONT ST. MICHEL, NORMANDY, FRANCE
Farnham - Winchester - Plymouth - Cherbourg - Mont St. Michel - 230 miles
June 14th - 25th. 2016
Personally, the pilgrimage to Mont St. Michel should rival Santiago de Compostella, for the destination has no equal plus the walk across the sand, mud and rivers, is a truly awesome experience which will stay with you for ever.

CAEN TO MONT ST. MICHEL - 100 MILES
September 23rd - 29th. 2017.
I joined the Association - Les Chemins du Mont-Saint-Michel on their annual pilgrimage walk. A truly wonderful experience. As always the walk barefoot across the sand, mud and rivers - 7km - to Mont St. Michel was an extraordinary experience. On this occasion I was given the honour of carrying the Association flag across the sands, while French TV filmed our progress. 47 pilgrims walked the whole way with about 25 more joining for each day.
